Zonal Castings
Rivers State (Port Harcourt) Saturday, October 8, 2011 7 am – 6 pm
-Whatever your height, weight and complexion, as long as you are a young intelligent Nigerian girl, you stand a very good chance of becoming Miss Nigeria 2011.
-The contestant must be a female Nigerian citizen, with a valid Nigerian passport.
-There will be no swim suit segment, as the contestants will be judged on poise, natural beauty, character, intelligence and their ability to be an ambassador for Nigeria.
Registration fee of N5000 / $35 (American Casting) or 25GBP (UK Casting). For further information on how to register visit www.missnigeria.org.ng (for each individual registration form and special receipt number, keep for future reference)
-The contestant/ Queen may not have borne any children, must not be married or have been convicted of any crime. If for any reason Miss Nigeria becomes pregnant during her reign, she forfeits her title and the 1st Runner- Up will succeed.
-The criteria set out above are in accordance with international pageant requirements.
Miss Nigeria should maintain a reputation of good moral character; failure to do so may result in her forfeiting the title and in such a case the 1st Runner-Up will succeed her. Any complaints of questionable character will result in the converging of the Miss Nigeria Committee meeting and voting on the decision of poor conduct.
Once you have been Miss Nigeria, you may not compete again for the title.
*The finalists from the International Zones will have all costs of transportation to and from Nigeria, and accommodation in Nigeria costs covered by the Miss Nigeria Competition.
The 2011 Miss Nigeria Grand Finale will take place November 18th, 2011 at the Eko Hotel and Suites in Lagos. Zonal castings will take place every Saturday from October 1 – October 22, 2011.
