Breakingnews: DIGs Helicopter crashes in Jos, kills four including a Deputy Inspector-General of Police, John Haruna

A helicopter belonging to the Special Task force has crashed in Jos, the Plateau state captial killing all on board. The helicopter is reported to have crashed on a house around Rukuba road behind Jos satellite market as it embarked on it’s regular surveillance routine early Wednesday morning killing all four people on board, including a Deputy Inspector-General of Police, John Haruna. Others killed were the DIG's orderly, the helicopter pilot and an engineer. The helicopter crashed into a house, injuring but not killing anyone on the ground.
The National Emergency Management Agency(NEMA) has confirmed the incident.
The Special task force was set-up to coordinate the security of the troubled state following killing of hundreds of people.
