USA beat Nigeria 156 – 73 in record breaking win at the London 2012 Men’s Basketball and Anthony Skinn gets play of the game!

Last night Team Naija men’s basketball team faced off with the World Number 1 Team USA. The Nigeria team which is made up of relative unknown players played against the likes of Carmelo Anthony, James Harden, Kobe Bryant and 2012 MVP Lebron James.
I don’t think anyone expected Nigeria to beat the US, but it was the way & manner that we were beaten that is most hurtful for we helped Team USA make history for the highest scoring game in Olympic history. SMH
In spite of the fact we got blown all the way out by the US, the play of the game went to Nigeria’s Anthony Skinn who can hold his head up with pride knowing he crossed over James Harden causing him to break his ankle. [See video after the jump]
What followed was a war of words between Nigerian’s and American’s and Ghanian’s who strangely enough gloated in our loss, at least we qualified what have they done lately in sports? Msctew! Of course trust Naija’s if there is anything we know how to do it’s to put on a show of unity and go on the attack against anyone who comes at us.
